Plasma Event Update
Plasma has been very busy closing out 2015 and has made it a point to sponsor and attend many top hackathons, networking events, thought leader expos and IoT exhibits. These events have given Plasma a chance, not only to network and share in thought leadership, but also to promote their new end-to-end IoT platform, C2M. Let’s review these recent events and those to come.
Recently Attended:
IoT Cloud Expo – Plasma attended the IoT Cloud Expo for the second year in a row from November 3-5 in Santa Clara, CA. Executive VP, Yasser Khan, not only conducted in-depth demonstrations and Q&A’s, he was also published in a SYS-CON.tv interview. The interview allowed Khan to express a high level view of the C2M Value.
Smart City Hackathon – From November 20-22, Plasma co-sponsored and co-organized a Smart City Hackathon in San Francisco, CA. The other sponsors and organizers included Microsoft, SigFox and Texas Instruments. The C2M platform was available for developers to use in their projects. The Plasma team was also available for mentoring and assistance. Two notable, award-winning projects using the C2M platform built solutions to city-wide water leakage and bike safety.
Dallas Big Data & Analytics Conference – On December 12, Plasma EVP, Yasser Khan attended a Big Data & Analytics event in Dallas, TX. Khan participated on a discussion panel to provide insight into how the Internet of Things (IoT) and Big Data will impact the world.
Upcoming:
AT&T Hackathon – Plasma will participate in the annual AT&T hackathon at the AT&T 2016 Developer Summit from January 2-3, 2016. The hackathon will provide many awards and be held at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, NV.
CES – Plasma attends the Consumer Electronics Show every year, and 2016 will be no different. The team will remain in Las Vegas, NV to attend CES from January 6-9, 2016. The event will once again give Plasma the ability to create more awareness for their end-to-end IoT platform, C2M. The show will also provide opportunity to share in thought leadership, networking and technology trends.
